This is the perfect solution for those who want to make a contribution but can’t take part in the walk or are short on time for drumming up sponsorship.
It costs over £500,000 every month to run Essex Air Ambulance’s two helicopters – that’s around £6.5million a year – and the organisation gets no government/public funding at all. Every penny of that £6.5 million is raised through public donations, sponsorship, etc.
